I'm too lazy to measure it...lol

I made a strobe for work to watch buffer wheels slowed down. I was testing it out on my car tonight...and it's a hair too slow for the SC pulley. I want to figure out the pulley ratio for the crank to SC pulley, so I can get a rough estimate of what RPM the strobe can get up to (Hz)...it's looking like this strobe won't be fast enough for what I need...it only goes up to about 20ish Hz.

TIA

That would be about right. That should be roughly a 1.8 to 1 ratio...and the SC is likely spinning around 1400ish on my motor at idle.

I could get the strobe almost there, but couldn't get the pulley visually completely stopped. The strobe I built is supposed to be stable up to 300 flases per second...guess that's not high enough!

The buffing wheels I am built this to inspect have a surface feet per second of around 5500.
