My car has an xp cam. ic, gen v, with the north star throttle body and the rpms bounce between 700 and 1700 on a cold start and eventually settle down. What do I need to look that to make it idle better on a cold start?
MAF?
MAF?

Do 3800's have Idle Airflow (RAF) tables that could be used to manage this a bit?
OL = Open Loop. You can increase the time before the PCM switches to Closed Loop.wtf is OL enable?
Is that a HPT only table?
Yes...but not in HPT. Gotta use TinyTuner and hope they are mapped (IAC section).Do 3800's have Idle Airflow (RAF) tables that could be used to manage this a bit?
Tommy, could you per chance make these changes for me one day when we see each other with the tiny tuner? I love hpt, but the tables you guys get vs the ones we do blows balls sometimes. My blue car is really pissing me off with the idle problem i have. It doesn't go to commanded idle unless it's stopped, if i'm moving and let off the throttle it goes to like 500rpm and either dies or almost dies, but as soon as i stop, BAM, commanded idle. Fucking pisses me off.
there's iac airflow per step thats a base iac table in tinytuner...enlarge the number ~20% since the N* uses the 12mm iac pintle vs the L67 tb 10mm pintle
DHP>HPT
Do you have 04/05 timing tables? My car would idle all crazy from a cold start with them.
Yeah...there are a bunch of IAC tables that I need to get familiar with myself.
I was going to say this x2... the idle timing for the 04+ timing tables is jacked up and i had to change mine as well... now its all good
