When my Gen V was installed there is a hose (circled in PIC) running to the thrasher intake tubing. It looks like the puncture spread a bit (no noticeable change in performance)

1) What is the optimum intake setup for me after I install my N* and LQ4?

GEN V / Adapter / N* / 3.75 Coupler / LQ4 Maf / Elbow / 9" K&N

^^^Does that sound right?

2
) What size coupler and elbow should I be using?
3) Should I go back to a stock elbow?

I am installing a N* and LQ4 next week and wide band tuning finallyy!

get rid of that accordian crap. Colder air is better, run it into the fender.

x2 on getting rid of the stock junk, dont know if it will even fit over the N*

i ran a similar setup on my old s/c setup, but just had a HAI open K&N in the engine bay... honestly, just keep the cone right there, dont bother with a FWI, there havent been any actual dyno claims to prove otherwise that ive seen in teh 3800 world... the s/c heats up the air so much that 20* isnt that much of a diff, thats why an IC for our cars do wonders
