OK, the other night i was driving to work and the service ABS, traction control, and variable effort steering stuff lit up the dash. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong now? Im about to drive this car off a cliff, i just cant find one high enough!!

either a fault exists with all three (ground, fuse etc) or your alternator is dieing and the pcm is shutting down components to keep you driving.

whats your cars build date?

That sound similiar to what happened to my friend on his 05. It was something with a ABS sensor. Maybe this could be the same issue??

J/K anyway, I'm with James, my 97 was doing similar stuff when my alternator went out.

I had that shit pop up on my car from time to time and nothing never came of it... I would just restart the car and it would go away...lol If something is wrong, I would guess abs related. I would not be worried about it...

lol x2 i would do this all the time, i though it has something to do with a wheel speed sensor or something in/along those wires idk

I dont think its the alternator, my voltage stays around 14.70. I dont know the build date, where do i locate that info. I did look it up on a website once, but i forgot what it was.

Frosty, if another issue pops up, i will be glad to put this over a cliff. beer is on me. lol.

I hope its not a wheel bearing or abs sensor. im getting tired of replacing them. if i have to do the bearings again, it will be the 4th time.

Wheel speed sensory, aka hub bearing. Cheap ones (aka not Timken), always. Hook up a scanner that will read the ABS system and figure out which one instead of throwing new bearings at it. Luckily thats the ONLY problem I havent had with my POS. Knock on wood.

You get about 60-70K on a factory or Timken bearing with normal use...40-50K on the cheapie ones.

I've gone through 6 on my car so far at 180K miles. If one goes, the opposite side is not far behind...so it's best to replace them both.

I dont know the build date, where do i locate that info. I did look it up on a website once, but i forgot what it was.

It might be on the build label on the drivers side door. Just open the door and you'll see it.
