I need a puller. I also need to be able to press on the new hub. I have been told that I need to use a specific puller/presser for an eaton blower.

Do you have a Cobra? Do I know you or know someone you know very well? I have the nice Billet Flow pulley puller for the 03/04 Cobra eatons. Only issue is I don't have time until after the 15th of April and I stopped loaning it out anymore (missing pieces, long time returning, etc.).

AZ rents pullers for free. Then get a series of bolts @ different lengths to draw the pulley back onto the snout. Good luck.

A 3 jaw will mangle the pulley and It won't get the pulley back on. He needs a puller/installer that looks like:

100 dollars worth of machined aluminum plates and bolts. When i did mine i couldn't find anyone local to do it so i just had to buy my own.

you can use a 3 jaw if you dont care about the stock pulley. i made an install tool for about $5...i'll try to find a pic.

Is that just a piece of box tubing that is tapped? How exactly does it work? Can it be done with the blower on the car?

can be done w/ blower on the car. its pretty straight forward tho when i had my car it took like 8 hours total it was such a pain for us

i have one of those as well as a pulley boys unit...i can see one improvment i made...a torrington bearing and push stud at the face of the puller screw when removing the pulley...wayyy less friction...i also have another larger torrington i use for installing...

they make it good i make it better... lol
