3800 converter

getting a new trans, im going to want to replace the converter.

on a very mild modded daily driven car can i just stick with a stock stall?
where can i purchase one

No get a slightly higher converter. You would be amazed with what it does to the feel of the car as well as a set of 3.29 gears.

1 slightly higher stall is nothing to worry about gas milage for......changes the whole feel of the car and is well worth it.

I say that because if I remember right, this is his GF's car. And I doubt she would really care about stall, especially with the current price of premium....

right. but on the other hand, she wants it faster... but not a race car.

if a slightly higher stall will give it more performance, yet not cause too much of a loss of milage, then im all ears.
she drives it 80% highway anyway and is currently getting about 24mpg.

the car will never get more than a tune, pulley, ingnition, and full exhaust.
and now a trans and maybe a converter

I was getting nearly 25mpg in my old 98' with a 3500rpm stall and 3.69s. The 3.69s kick you in the butt so as long as you stay stock gear ratio one level up in torque converter should really be a negligible difference.

I was getting 30 mpg+ on the highway( 60-65mph) not touching it with 3.29s, slightly higher stall, DP, catback, intake, pcm, etc......Awsome MPG on this GP...very happy.
