So am I correct in assuming that the factory radio itself and the radio lights draw power from separate wires? Halfway to work today, my radio just shut off and won't come back on. Won't eject my Iron Maiden CD either. Bastard lol. But it still lights up (well, the lights that work anyway). I know the wiring is loose back there from whoever put it in after removing whatever system was in the car before, since I've had the speakers cut out when I hit bumps. I've even had it shut off before, but it came back on. I assume the power wire finally came loose back there. No biggie just gotta redo the wiring once it's warmer, but I just wanna make sure that that's what it is and the radio didn't just fry out on me since the lights still work. If it is dead that thing had better cough up my Maiden.
