3800 Fabbed up a little something today...

Grabbed some racking pieces out of the dumpster at work earlier in the week last week.

Hacked it up, grabbed some pieces of an old STB, found some casters, a little exhaust tubing for reinforcement; fresh coat of rustoleum and VIOLA! New engine stand...

3.8inch borex 3.4in stroke yields 231 ci or 3800 cc's
the SII (in the pic) has a 1 inch shorter deck height than the SI and older 3.8 bore buick's

i'm liking that thing more and more ron....just make it a hare bigger so i can put another 3800 below the top....i need all the room i can get lol

is the steel frame open on top with just the wood worksurface?

Yeah, I mde it to support the block without the wood. I had some spare 2x4's next to it when I was painting it and got the idea. I was just going to put some rubber over the top rails and hold the motor with that.

Are you kidding or serious?

How could you compare what a bare block looks like from ONE small picture.

I could say it looks like the V6 is both of my cars.

But since most bare V6 blocks look alike, I'll pass.
