hrmmm i'd want pics of the block casting dates...these might have been durability/emissions mules or destructive tested...

L36, these are fleet motors. Either GM remanufactured or new. Full motors.

did they give any reman specs? reman'd with OE tooling or outside firm for GM? if they come with new cranks their prob just as good as the new motors...

i still wonder what testing was performed on the now reman'd engines...

It is entirely possible that they are new - last model year motors. I had 32 of these at one point. I sold all but one. They were either 1997,1998, or 1999 motors complete from oilpan to supercharger. They were overruns from the previous model year. They can not by emissions law use them on a new model year vehicle, so they sell them as surplus. The ones I had were brand new, never run. I still have one sitting here for a rainy day
