3800 motor swap

I have ben looking for a project car for a while now and found a cheep as dirt 99 ls. would you have to change the harness to pull the motor and drop an l67 in it, or would everything basicly hook up about the same. I have never evean looked under the hood of an n/a 3.8l so I dont know what differences there are.

you have options. you can get an L67 harness or order the conversion kit from WBS to add the map and BBV.
which ever you can get a little cheaper is what i would do. if the old harness is damaged or brittle i would just get a new one. If it was 00+ L36 harness i would just get a L67 but if its a 99 you will be fine.

if i was you (and then again this is just me), put the blower on that short block. your compression is damn there a whole point higher than a L67 which will give you torque outta this world and any other little thing you do, with be just that much better. that would be the way i would go. use that compression to your benifit dude.
