3800 Took the Lightning to the track today...

I rebuilt it over the Winter. I went with forged pistons, .030 over, balanced & blueprinted, AFR 185's, Pickrel exhaust, 2400 stall and the same KB. I converted to mass-air in the Spring and haven't had the time to run it until now...

It ran 12.8 @ 101 with a 1.7 60' time!!!! Nothing broke, nothing hiccupped, no drama what-so-ever: I hit the go peddle at the last amber and they said it looked like it lifted and shot forward like a hungry dog going after a lame cat! Keep in mind that this is a full size, full weight, fully optioned truck.

I plan on having a custom cam ground and installing it next year...I think I can get it into low 12's in cooler weather with that!
