3800 Coils after i/c install

I installed the intercooler in sept and i moved the coils to the front of the engine bay. I moved them because i thoght the s/c belt was going to rub on the backside of the coil and/or coil bracket. What did everyone do with thier coils after they put thier i/c on? (Maybe a spacer of some kind?) The coils are working where they are now but i think it looks much nicer in the stock location. Any information would be great. Thanks

put a shim of some sort under the top bolt of the coil packs. I used a nut and it was just enough to clear the belt.

Yes, I put an extrat washer/nut under the top coil pack mount..........although, be careful not to bend the thing to much or it will crack!!!

when mine was shimmed with a nut, the wire would rub on my gtx hood, so I took off the nut and used 2 washers instead, which fixed the rubbing on the hood.

Alright cool i think im going to try the washers this weekend. Did you have to get longer bolts b/c of the spacers? Thanks
