we're going since we found out the insurance company that towed the 93 GP ripped one of the rear trailing arms apart and bent the other...so we'll have to bend them back to shape and i'll weld a couple of cheap wrenches to the sides for now (i'll grab som 1.5 inch dom tube from my buddy and redo them at a later date )
since Al likes to drive like a maniac :lolsign:

on a side note if it werent for the trailing arm issue the GP's 45minutes away from going for a drive

was a alot of fun, are chassis designer was there(wasted off his ass) thats how we found out
its all weekend and lots of bigblock/small block guys there selling shit loads of used parts. LSx/LT1 guys there was lots of n2o parts new and used. great deals like 2-10lb and 1-15 bottles for all for $150

the tameless tiger was there also. amazing engines on stands with some of the sickest turbo and CSC setups ive ever seen(2000+HP)

we met a ilgpc member that worked at a new machine shop that does are blocks.
i suggest people go if they want to see some of the same stuff that will be at world of wheels next week for 3 times the entrance fee+parking(parking was free at this one)

Al, Allen, James and I (James lol) will be and after we'll be grabbing the new GM trailing arms for the GP (50$ for the pair (55cents above cost heheh) and they have two sets in stock!!!!! sullivan pontiac we got the hookup from amanda's uncle neil woot! now lets hope the bolts come out.... )

well we have been waiting for 1 car to get out of there and then the drag expo came up so one of these upcoming saturdays i have to load it up and drop it off. i cant even imagine cutting more out the thing but it will be on a rack so i hope it stays in one peice

lets hope the body doesnt flex and crack anything while loading
i swear when a big wind comes by the car leans and flexs to one side like a empty box on its side with the top and bottom open

the shop might be at world of wheels also, he was unsure.

well we are still working everything out, we cut alot of our own stuff out so he didnt have to do it. saved about 20-30 hours easily there. and we brought some of the suspension stuff so he doesnt have to fab as much up. you will be seeing some High speed welding graphics on some part of the car i can asure you

so are you planning on using the factory floorpans (unibody rails and rocker rails) and inner supports or going full tube chassis with fab'd (sexy aluminum?) interior panels?

if you need large (3.5x5 ft) aluminum sheet let Al and I know we get sheet from his father in law's work (printing presses) it's the real thin stuff (1/64th or 1/32 inch) one side is a shiny (not polished) brushed aluminum the other side has printing negatives on it

it's kinda hard to keep the bare alum side blemish free after they leave his work but i guess with a few blankets you can...

the sheets look like this pic 5 minutes 5 seconds into the vid (and we also used em in the new rear firewall panels now in the back of the 442)
