3800 can anyone help me with a question

reason being. I have all this extra L36 parts laying around my garage. I could slap the topend on my engine andhave the GTP running N/A witht the bottom end by next week. I miss it and I want to drive it. would this be a wise decision?
I can throw my spare 130lbs springs on the heads before I put them on. i would be N/A for a couple months..breaking in my bottomend..while waiting for ZZP's new heads. I am debating if it is even worth the hassle of redoing my PCM. my S10 is almost done..just a few odds and ends....its just I miss the GTP.
