I have a 3.4 pulley that has been sitting here in my house and I've been debating on wether or not I should buy a puller or not. I don't think that I'm gonna go with a smaller pulley than a 3.4 so I'm looking for someone to help me do my swap or do it for me. If anybody is down for this tell me how much $$$ or If I can rent a puller that would work out too. As long as I get my pulley on quick....Who can help out?

I've never done one that quick. I usually get ahold of cursed cars that everything is hard to do on.

i doubt that - but whatever...

i've done at least 10 pulley swaps and even under ideal conditions it's nearly impossible to this in under 20 minutes.

Shaun when do ya wanna do this? smknL67? Keeping in mind it's best to remove a pulley on a cold snout. We could change my pulley first; By the time mine gets done your engines should be sufficiantly cooled off to work on.

Alex has done hundreds......HUNDREDS of pulley swaps. It is cool watching him pound beer while doing swaps.

I live in Bensenville but I do know where willow springs is at. I used to work out there in UPS when I was in h.s. Sounds good to me to help you with your pulley and then mine. I did do a pulley swap in my old 92 park avenue in under 10 min. , but thats a totally different type of blower (m62) It was a zzp 2.5 pulley B) .....anyways does the weekend work for you? Right now I'm working 12hr days at work and the weekend is my only free time.

LOL, ok dude. You do something for over 5 years and tell us how you learn little tricks to cut time down.

The first time I saw Alex do a swap was back in 02 and it took roughly 20 minutes. That was with bullshitting and messing around. Then again, you think its a 2 man job.

Did you know it only takes 4 hours to do a complete motor swap?? Thats the fastest time ive seen it done in so it must be normal.

I used to be the pulley swap master..LOL!!

Until I retired my title..LOL~~

I have been working on GP's since early 99. Done hundreds of pulley swaps lost track after doing 10 in a row at GPG in Kansas. I remember even doing that one pulley that was actually a compression fitting type pulley . I wonder what ever happened to those..LOL!! They probably flew off.

I have done thrasher, pulley boys, zzp, intense, even the original 3.5 pullies. all the Hub type systems. even done a cple Mag snouts (including my own because my first pulley swap was a disaster that took 4 hours only to fock it up..LOL ahh those were the good old days)

So yes I have actually done a cple swaps that took 10 minutes.
If all goes well.

Shit i think we even coinded the phrase 3.4" shit grin..LOL~~
