There was this kid who came in to my work today from lakemore and he has a 97/99 GSX awd eclipse.. We started chatting for a bit and he told me his list of stuff and then asked... " with Pontiac how do they define the different stages.. " I told him I have no Idea..

My thoughts are:

Stock..

Stage 1

*Internals
* Smaller pulley
* Full Exhaust
* Headers

Stage 2
* Cooler
Tuner
Injectors
Smaller MPS


This is a big GUESS... What do you think.. what is the guide to our mods???

[98 TGP TOY]

Stages are for people who dont know how to mod their car or what any of their mods do. That way they can just say...."Oh...i have a stage 2 setup". Ask them what all that includes and 90% of them wont have any idea what to say. JMO.
