very clever editing. i would have not included the shot of riker in letterbox from the st movie, very incongruous. Also the enterprise was fighting the star destroyer form Empire, then it suddenly destroys the one from Jedi.
That being said, couldn't Data figure out how to remodulate the phasers to pierce the Death Star's shields, like they do with the Borg, and exploit the thermal exhaust port? I would have like to see the Enterprise or perhaps a shuttle craft going down the trench run.
