3800 Fuel Filter

Ok so I went to the dealership to get my sway bark endlink 16$ and Fuel filter 15$. I go to put the filter on and notice that the one on my car has 2 outlets... I call the dealership and they told me I was given the wrong one (no shit) and that the one for my car was THIRTY FIVE dollars WTF!. But what I really wanted to know was why there are 2 outlets?

I think it may have something to do with the fuel system we have. Our fuel system sucks compared to 03 and under GPs. We have a returnless fuel system as opposed to the wrap around fuel system.

Why would you go to the dealer for a fuel filter? Any local auto parts store will have them for probably a 1/4 of the price.

Actually they dont. At least not for the GEN Vs. Its still a dealership item. I just replaced mine about 3 months ago

Well im not sure if they have it at the auto parts store but I heard they didnt. I went straight to the dealer and got one.

Well Chip does not have a GTP but either way the fuel filter is different.

ya.....stupid dealer and their stupid $35........ HELL i CAN MAKE MY OWN FUEL FILTER!! just need some coffee filters and a old coke 2-liter bottle....
