Looking for average performance tires for my 2000 GP GT. I am looking to spend $80-100 on each tire. 225/60-16 Any recommendations?

How much of a difference would the 245/50 R16 be in comparison to stock? I know there'd be a difference of about 2-3 mph on the speedometer. What about safety wise? I read on clubgp that it's advised not to have 245/50 R16's in case you have to make an emergency maneuver. Thoughts?Originally posted by Ron Vogel@Apr 5 2006, 08:41 PM
For the best period BFG KDW's, or Goodyear F1's.

I ran the BFG/KDW 245/50/16 last year, and wasnt to impressed with those, so ive replaced them with Firestone Wide Ovals 245/50/16 Monday of this week which compare to the old SZ50. They matched the internet price for everything. speedo will be off 2 MPH, per "radar"Originally posted by framos242+Apr 6 2006, 02:16 PM--><!--QuoteBegin-Ron VogelHow much of a difference would the 245/50 R16 be in comparison to stock?
