I'd only replace the side that's bad.
I wouldnt replace it with a brand new one. My left side boot was leaking too. I sent it out to midwest driveshaft and they replaced the boot and balanced it. I had them pick it up at my shop in the morning and they dropped it off by 12.
I dont think they will make house calls but im sure if you drop it off early enough in the morning to them they will have it done the same day. The finished axle looked as if it were brand new, they did a really nice job. I think it ran me just under 100 bucks.
BTW dont do the boot replacment yourself with one of those rebuid kits you can get from an auto parts store. Those things suck ass, ive never used it on my car but my bro has a p.o.s for a car and he ends up redoing the boot each year. Its the cheap and easy route to go but youll spend more time screwing with it when you can just spend a few extra bucks and get it done right the first time.
