3800 new track times...a bit confused....

alright well i went to the track for the last time this year and my previous results were 13.71 @ 101....that was with stock tires w/ 2.01 60 foot times....i added a 160 stat...and drag radials...and only ran 13.69 @ 97.11 mph...and that was the only 13.6 run i was able to pull off...and that was with consistant 1.8 60' times. do i need more power to be able to launch that hard or what? the car pulled hard like normal, but just didnt seem to have the top end...the tires are slightly taller than stock(maybe 1/8")...they are 255/50/16 mounted on a 7.5" rim...will the wider rim make a difference in my ET and/or mph? im confused....

With a 1.8 60ft you should be low 13's if not high 12's with a 3.0 pulley.

Your traps look very low too. It looks like you're missing a significant amount of power somewhere.

Was there a significant headwind? If this was at Byron then I'd say so, it's that time of year and they built the track facing the into the Fall winds. That seemed to suck some time and speed from me a couple of weeks ago!

yeah it was at bryon, i didn't think about the wind, i ran 13.71 @ 100 with a 2.0 60' so i was thinking with a 1.8 i would at least be at 13.5 but oh well...
