3800 GT VS GTP

I dont even agree with the CSC. If your going to go with an aftermarket (or any forced induction) just go with a turbo.

I should have stated that adding an M90 (GTP supercharger) would take quite a bit of parts, and labor.

Well how much is one of those turbos?

See I will be getting a new car in less then a year I think.. and the gtp has been good to me... but a GT is more in my price range.. and the gas milage might be better but just incase I got the I need to go fast bug.. I think I have pretty much gotten over that though... but my car has 150,000miles on it and it has been good to me motor and trans wise.. I just want to get something that will last awhile like this one has

price depends on the kit ....car tuning kit is around 3,000....nu-line has one for about 2600.....ZZP is even doing a M90 ss kit (so you can put a supercharger on the gt) for about 1500. All depends on the quality you want. I have heard alot of good things about the car tuning kit....so i would go for that one, unless you just want alittle more power then for the ZZP kit.

There are others...i knows intense is doing a STS turbo thing for about 4500 also...

Depends on what you want. Intercooler to go with it, cam, rockers, they all add up.

Id say an I/Ced, rockered turbo car would be around 5000 out the door. That is easily an 11 second car though.

I think someone in Woodstock has the basic 3K turbo kit. Running mid 13s. Not bad at all IMO.

So for 3K you go from 16 seconds to 13 seconds, and for 2 more K thats 11 seconds. I really like that math.
