3800 HELP...RT downpipe wont' line up with....

Ok, now that I had a chance to attempt to finish my car after being gone all week,

I was just finishing by putting on the RT downpipe. 3 of the 4 bolts line up on it,


Both of the bolts connection the rear header(TOGS) to the downpipe are fine, and 1 of the 2 for connecting the catback.

One of them just wont line up for NOTHING. I dropped another hanger on the exhaust and was trying to twist it...ZIP


Its like the downpipe is twisted OR the exhaust is somehow...I've got pics and will post em later but any quick tips anyone? Im just pissed at how it can't work....

I had the same problem, I ended up taking the whole exhaust off the car, bolting it to the downpipe (this allows it to be twisted into postition), then bolting the exahust back up on the hangers.

thats what i almost did and didn't wanna do it possible...but figured that'd be the answer

maybe i'll just go to an exhaust shop have em cut the flange on the cat back section rotate it a bit and reweld it...lol, might just be easier.

That would definately be easier, It wasnt a big deal for me to do the other solution since I have my exhaust off the car 90% of the time anyways since it is usually in track prep.
