If you are running green antifreeze you need to make sure to get a complete flush to clear all of that out. I would run Dexcool over the standard green antifreeze anyday. It is the approved antifreeze for most GM cars. Just make sure to really get that green stuff out!

I heard that Dexcool creates a thick clayish film that can hurt the water pump once it dries. Is this true. When I had my caddi I had dexcool in it and decided to take my finger wipe it against the coolant valve and it does give alittle bit of a clay substance on the surfaces of the hoses. Thats when i flushed it to the max and did the green stuff
