3800 Odd Power Steering Noise

[3800SC98]

What are the typical power steering problems with our GPs?

I'm getting a real odd noise whenever I turn my wheel in any direction and it's getting worse every day. :angry:
It mainly does it after the car warms up. If I turn the wheel while it's cold it doesn't do it as much.

Damn! How would I know I need a new "ps rack"?
Is there anything else I can check or do to make sure that's not my problem?

Try topping off the fluid if your getting gear noise.

Thanks, I might just try to get all of the fluid out and fill it in all the way with new fluid just for kicks.

lower pinion bearing?
or something like that, but supposedly that only should affect stearing left at low speeds. it was a recall part.

MY STEERING WHEEL IS KINDA HARD TO TURN ONLY ONE WAY CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH SIDE THOUGH. HMMM...
