3800 GT NEEDS HELP NOW - Feb 20, 2005

There's a GT in need of help right now. The car wont start and it seems to be a fuel delivery problem. It starts, then dies a few seconds later.
Question:

-Does the GT have a fp resistor same as the GTP?

I've got the person looking for the resistor right now, so I hope there's one!
The car is on the road, with cops on the side.

Update: Might have found it. Poor girl is in Clark and Division - in the rain - with cops telling her to move it.

IIRC, they do have them as well. What year GT?? I know there was a recall cause of the shitty plenum GM uses. Starts to warp and vaccum leaks start.

Thanks for the response Fish. Yup, they do have it. Cars is now running. Spliced the two wires together and presto! This seems like a common problem when the car gets wet inside the fenderwell. What a shitty night for the GT driver. First, she gets a flat tire. When that gets fixed, the car wouldnt start!
