3800 My homepage now is a search page????

Well yea i have this problem and was wondering if anybody knows how to solve it.
If i go to internet properties it still shows my home page as hotmail but its some random search page when it comes up??
Any ideas?

thats what you get for going to all those porn site... :lol:

I think if you clear your files through the internet properties and retype your home page in the field and hit apply i think you should get your home page back.

Then download and run AdAware 6 and SpyBot search and destroy. Both are free, and you'll be surprised what they find.

Mine was doing that too.....and google is all weird with pointless links showing on the first page if I searched for something. I ran spybot search and destroy, ad-aware, and norton antivirus and it seems to be working better.

I had this happen just a day or two when I clicked the wrong thing.

What you need to do is go back to your homepage that you want (I used the history function).

When you are at the site you want as a homepage, click on "Tools" in the top menu bar, then click "Internet Options..."

From there you click on the "general" tab, and where it says homepage, click on "use current"

It worked for me when my homepage changed. Try clicking "Use Default".

Yea well i cant seem to get enough of those porn sites
But i have run adaware and spybot and this continues and yes i have changed my home page but it seems to be redirected when i open explorer it seems to be going to my homepage then it goes somewhere else. Kinda wierd

Mine is called youriskalka.com It keeps resetting itself in even after I added the ms antispyware.

Make sure after you install the software, to update the pattern file. There have been a few updates to that since MS released the software...
