3800 best o2 sensor

time to replace my o2 sensor....
what one should i get/avoid?


stick with ac delco? bosch? get a stock one from ed?

I've herd bosch is crap. Stick with an AC delco. This is just what I've read so I do'nt know from experience.

Bosch run real lean out of the box, and generally last lees than 6 months before replacement is neccesary. Total waste of money. Only buy a new one, and get AC Delco.

On the bright side, AutoZone has a 1 year warranty on the Boschs. I returned mine after 2 weeks usage . The second Bosch O2 worked fine - for me.

I talked to a guy in PartZone and he claims that there are only 2 O2 manufacturers in the world and that AC and Bosch are the same. Same goes for anti-freeze, he says. I dont know if thats true, but dont ya' just enjoy these kinds of information from behind the counter!

Then what I think is the problem is that Bosch uses one PN that will work for several vehicles, instead of a specific one made for the car. The AC ones have different color coded wire of a heavier guage than the Bosch.
