indeed will be sweet... still FWD but the 5.3L will add some decent pep and since it's a Gen III 5.3 (LS1 is a Gen III 5.7 L , but the parts are interchangeable) there's TONS of aftermarket for it already

if i recall correctly... they had the 5.3 in the SSR in its first year last year and some company was offering a supercharger kit for it cause it was just to dang slow with only 300 hp. GM finally installed a decent engine in the SSR (the LS2). if that kit would work with the GP with the 5.3.... that thing would fuckin HAUL cause it is sooo much lighter than the SSR!
