3800 TOGs leaking!

Anyone had an experience with there TOGs leaking at the head to flange. Their tight but are leaking. They are either warped or need to be loosened up and A&Aed. I heard it all of a sudden. I got it back in the garage and smelled the V-cover melting then saw it.

Probably needs to be tweeked. I hope. It seemed to happen all of a sudden.

Oh, want to buy V-covers.

I have a fairly new pair. I had a leak before my warranty was up in 2002, they put brand new ones on, and I just t0ok those off to put on a pair I painted. I was thinking like $20.

Sold! I want to paint a pair aswell. However, I posted too earlyon the leak. Total BRAIN Fart here.

It turns out that there was no leak. The little flanges on the VCer are molded that way stock. It appeared that it was melted but it wasnt. As far as the sound it is my q-tech. It wasnt closed all the way.

I just need to toss those old 104's out. They fouled rich.....This thing is CRAZY rich. Im dummying up with the mini a/f...
