DUDE, that didn't work! i could not get the wire and plug out so i cut the wires and...nothing! wtf?

Why did you cut the wires? I dont know why you would cut them. Dont know what to say man....but you should of kept trying to un plug it.

everything seem to be fine...cruise, wipers, directionals, etc. i don't know...i got a little over zealous and, well you know fuck car of mine...pos...carmax proly had somthing to do with it

The system probably has something to do with it actually being connected to the heat sink.

You could try pulling the fuse out..in the glove box...but you will have to turn the lights on yourself at night...but no more day time lights

Supercharged Mike and I both pulled the plugs out of the sink and our drls are disabled. Everything else works fine too.

i just pulled the fuse...alot faster

with the 01's you cant pull the fuse you have to unplug that thing under the steering column. if you just take the fuse out, you will get a ticking noise. just unplug that thing and you diable the light from coming on in the day but they automatically come on at night. it nice.

i have a 98...i unplugged the swtch fr the heat sink, diabling the drl's but not the twilight feature. so, i believe it was alexgtp who said take out the fuse (bottom row, 1st fuse on the left) it worked and i am super happy
