100lbs a tenth or 1000 a second. GP's are heavy, but if you are trying to cut weight, lower your rotating mass and unsprung weight. You'll get the best returns there. Every 1 lb of unsprung weight is worth 4x that of sprung weight. The rules of weight reduction are less effective at lower et's, but so is HP. It starts to get really difficult to knock off ET the faster you go. Light wheels/tires/brakes/rotors are the easiest way to go.

It's pointless to drop weight and in my opinion, it takes away from the whole purpose of driving a Grand Prix over a Mustang. I want a fast, comfortable daily driver. If it's missing door panels, seats, carpeting, padding, etc, the comfort level quickly falls by the wayside.
