3800 A/F ratio gauge

Ok, I installed the boost and A/F gauges myself(big mistake). After a while(like 6 hours of work) i finally got the boost lighted and working and the A/F hooked up. But i hooked up the A/F wired wrong and fried them. Two things, before i fried them, the A/F wasn't reading, could it be the O2 senors is bad. and second, after i fried the wires, the A/F wouldn't even light. Do you think i fried the A/F gauge and it is not good anymore, or what?

did you use a pigtail off of the O2 sensor? did you tap the blue wire?

Pigtail good, tapping bad. I hope you used a pigtail. A couple members found out how bad it can be to tap those dern O2 wires.

I just tapped into the wire. I tired both of the wires and nothing read.

If you're going to tap, make sure you tap on the computer side of the harness. Don't tap on the 02 side. These wires are shielded and you'll end up with an erroneous signal.
