I was rushing back to work coming up 355 this afternoon and was next to a new blue GTO. He stabbed it while I was looking down lighting a smoke and he pulled ahead, so I gunned it and caught up. We pulled side by side again, then I hit it. I totally walked him. I thought those things were monsters on the highway? It was a nice part of an otherwise crappy day.

I was looking at that post on LS1GTO.com with the GTP guy saying his car had 5 mods and did twelves and saw in a couple sigs some 14 flat 1/4 mile passes with decent (2.0) 60ft times. To my recollection they are mid to high 13 second cars with the majority of their power being on the highway.

They certainly aren't unbeatable, just require a little work.
