3800 super small hole in rim..how to fix

My rim has a very, very, fine hole in it on the inside of the rim. It leaks a good amount of air on me and am tired of filing it with air every 3 days.


How can I fix this.

Can I get it welded or something like that? Does anyone know where I can get this done?

Does someone have an extra 5star polished rim on them 4 sale?

Clean the inside surface of the rim....Apply a dab of JB Weld.

Try some fix a flat (non-flammable kind) It may do it. It will find the leak as the air escapes.

Fix-A-Flat dosent work and can damage the insdie of yo tire by making the rubber softer. JB weld should work fine any auto store should have it or hardwear store.

Yeah, I got yelled at buy the guy that patched my tire when I used that fix a flat stuff. Charged me 10 extra bucks to clean the rim and tire as well.

Fix a flat will hold you through the summer, but come winter you will have to do something cause you will lose air again, and if you do use fix-a-flat, you have to tell the tire place because the tire could explode in there face .... but fix-a-flat has worked for me b4 if your broke and need your car..lol

yeah i have a set but they cost about 125 - 150 brand new for one which int all that bad.

JB is a permanent 2 part epoxy. You dont want to heat up your rim or blemish the finish with a welder.

Go to any parts store.....The fix-a-flat blows....Its a temporary solution...I had that shit settle in my beater tire in winter and toss the balance off....At 50 it felt like I was riding a camel...

That stuff is for the biotches....
