best 1/4:

R/T: .416
60': 2.223
330: 6.403
1/8: 9.855
MPH: 71.47
1/4: 15.310
MPH: 91.20

Any ideas why my 1/4 is so slow? The best 60' time i could possibly pull was 2.223, and i probably couldnt go any lower than a 2.20. My launches were dialed with either no, or minimal wheel spin (a small bark at most).

What would S&S headers, no cat, ubend, res, 2.5" pipe straight to the passenger bank with a flowmaster 40 muffler on it yield me time wise? I doubt down to 14.6 which is what other cars (no cam, but ER rockers) run...any ideas? The BFG hook very well...

Damn dude, thats lots of knock. That is definatly a reason that your not seeing the times you want. I was seeing 4-5 degrees, but I dont know how I was running about 32-35 degrees of timing at WOT.

Looking at your list, I would up the thermostat to 180, non drilled, and go up to 605 plugs gapped at about .058-.056.

hey bro, I don't understand how you only pulled a best 60' of 2.2x. The way you were launching on the streets on me every time, you should at lease be able to get 2.1x or even 2.0x. I know that you are just a gt, but didn''t someone say that gt's are able to start faster than gtp's, because I run consistant 2.00, and 2.01? I was just wondering, and the best thing for racing, as you already well know is PRACTICE. You have to just sit at the track and get about 5 runs to get into the groove of the car, then just practice. I gurantee you that if you hit a 2.1x or 2.0x you will see a 14 at the end of the track.
