If you have headers it goes on the header where the egr tube bolts up to the header. If stock manifolds to the manifold where the tube mets up. For the 5 bucks its worth buying instead of making.

Well, it's not for everyone...The EGR takes inert gas from the exhaust and introduces it into the combustion chamber to cool the combustion event in order to reduce detonation and emmissions. If this is the case, why would you want to disable this system? Because, you can make more power by putting more air and gas in rather than inert gas. The problem is that simply blocking off the tube at the exhaust manifold will allow air into the combustion chamber, since it's cleaner, the combustion chamber will stay cleaner. However, LT fuel trims will elevate to cope with the extra air, so expect that. It is best to get a custom programming done to eliminate the EGR altogether. You will need to have strong supporting mods to keep kr down to do this.
