My sway bars seem to be making a really loud thunk from the rear.

I have chechked the brakcets and they are torqued down properly. I cant pinpoint the problem.

Will lubing them up help any? also what type of lube do I need to use?
Also on the bars where it hooks up to the stabilizer link there are 2 holes on the RAT bar. Which hole should it go into? the first or second closest to the end of bar.

I cant take the thud sound anymore.

Verify when the noise is occuring. If it is occuring when going over bumps, it may be the strut mounts/ upper spring perches. If it occurs when turning only, you might have a bad sway bar endlink.

On the adjustable bars, the hole towards the rear of the car is the setting for a firmer setup.
