3800 Ram Air

I have heard SO MANY times that ram air is useless until speeds that will never be attained by a car. (i.e 600+mph) Well, these guys who develope a ramair system for the C5 asy otherwise, and here is the article. I don't think it will have as much impact on a GTP, but a N/A gt or se will see that impact.

Thats very interesting. The GP ram air hood would probably help alot better if their was not a horrible bend in it.

and an unsealed cai... if someone took the time im sure a ram air kit that worked could be made to replace the fog lights...

When I installed the ram air, I did not notice any sort of gain what so ever. There is no way it adds power

like i was getting at i doubt any difference would be seen in an FI car because we are already operating at 100%+ manifold pressure. The article was talking about a N/A and how an appropriately designed ram air system can give noticeable by preventing the manifold from dropping below 100% use of the manifolds volume.
