i ended up getting a small tube of loctite 518 $6 from mcmaster. the kit came with a coupler and oil...no sealant.

I ordered Monday it arrived Thursday...the place is 3 hrs away...oh well

Old coupler just slid right off...likely had more life in it but i started to notice some slack

also i made a big mistake...the old oil stinks and i poured it down a drain...not good

about a 15 min 45 min job depending on clean up and separating the snout...i had no idea how difficult it is to remove the snout...i am so glad i did not do this in chassis..
