3800 Body Control Module?

Anyone know where it's located? I have a replacement one to install. I thought it was on the right side. Pull the glove box and didn't see it.
Also what is the module right under the glove box? Says Delco on it. Slides into and out of place.

Big help. Thank you!!!!! The dealer told me it was on the passenger side! Glad I didn't have them install it!!!

Also glad I didn't have them change it. They told me $300.00 to fix it. Supposably it was bad and the reason the trunk button no longer works.....Well guess what. I put a knew one in for $60.00. And my trunk still dosn't work! :angry:
I'll have to try a new trunk solonold next.

What does the body control module do?

the BCM controls your air bags.. also I think it has something to do w/the ABS as well and security... but don't know for sure...

I just know it's kinda a "big brother" device... if you're in an accident and the air bags deploy 5+ seconds of data is logged to a perm chip... (including TPS, Speed, Brake position, Seat belt use and a few other things) ... and the info is admissable in court FYI...

It is integrated though... no way to remove the BCM (permanently)... all part of a big network

My alarm is connected to mine. It also controls locking and unlocking of your doors and trunk.
