3800 Dexcool and green stuff......

My mom didn't know their was different coolants. Her low coolant light came on, so she bought some and filled it up. She ended up putting almost a half a bottle of green stuff into her car which uses Dexcool.

I know this is bad, but what should be done?

Is there a way I could flush it? I always heard it was bad to mix tap water with dexcool, so flushing it with a hose doens't sound like the best idea.

Or should I just go to a shop and have them flush it. If you guys recommend that route, where do you recommend we take the car? Anyone on here have any hookups?

go to a shop and tell them what happened and ask them to flush it. won't be cheap though. talk to lowenhart, his brother might be able to hook you up.

Shit, Drain it all out if your worried about it. Fill it with water and repeat it 2 more times or run the garden hose splitter method until the drained water is clear. Then fill it with what ever color you prefer.....
