Kinda sorta hehe ... used to work for Motorola (but only in the IT department so I didn't have much access to the marketing stuff) ... (got outsourced to CSC last year, so now I'm still physically at Motorola but all my work is for a contract for UTC)

I found some site that has 2 of those phones for 99.99 if I sign a two year contract.

eww... 2 year contract... be careful w/that... it's often best to sign just a 1 year contract, pay a lil more on the phone but then get in on the better deals that arise a year later... they'll generaly give you even better deals just to keep you on as a customer once your initial contract expires...

Let me know how ur switch goes rocky. I have verizon and I'm planning to switch to something else because verizon keeps screwing up my bill. So i''m done with them.

Im not 100% that I will switch. I have Sprint right now and I really like them. They just recently pissed me off because they promised something and then backed out.

So if I get a good deal with Nextel then I might just do the switch.

I'll let you know what happens.

This phone is bulky (not some tiny flip phone...) and is MIL 810 approved (you can drop it from 10 feet up and it will not break).

yeah amazon.com rocks for new service deals, you have to pay a bit up front but get a couple hundred back in rebates ad credits on your first bill.

Thats where steve and I got ours from $49.99 (after rebate) for each of our i90c's.

I can tell you this, the best place to buy nextel phones/accessories is either ebay or ideninsider.com and that its not a good idea to switch providers (nextel, verizon, sprint) often cuz they all try to jam you with early contract termination fees they don't mention till you're ready to pull the trigger. It's a good idea to know the details of your existing plan before changing.
