around the threads you mean? not alot where it was dripping off, but you could see that it was wet. don't know if the plugs are supposed to, but it smells like gasoline alot.

looks like if anything your running alittle lean. Which plugs are those looks alittle lean to me.I would try the 104's did you get the car tapped tonight?? If so what did you guys see?

he is running lean.. and he was seeing misfires on CYL 1..... told him the best thing to do, right now, is to throw the new plugs in... and see what happens...

thanks lord for the scan. yes, i just put in the autolite 104's. took it around the block, seemed a bit more responsive. tonight i will take it out and run the car a little harder.

LEAN.

They might have been wet because you cooked the plug and were misfiring. Misfire = not burning fuel = wet plug. The ash white appearance shows lean to me. A properly burning plug should be slightly on the greyish side, but not cooked looking.

Now everyone needs to listen up .....

if you got wot and your car bucks and runs like crap, DO NOT, repeat DO NOT, keep trying to see if the problem will magically solve itself. You risk serious damage to your engine by pushing it like that especially see 8KR and having misfires, you are probably quite lucky you didn't go BOOOOM.

so what are my options here. how did i get my car to stop running so lean.

i took my car for a spin and gave it some gas and no problems at all. i am not going to drive my car hard at all until i get this all worked out. ya, it was kind of dumb to try it a couple of times, i just didn't know if it was consistant.

yea get that car tapped again. you need to see Charles so that he can do some pcm work on the car and richen you up a bit. But make sure that its not a mechanical problem. Your going to mod day right? If so i'm sure someone there will be able to tap your car.

ya, i am going to the mod day on saturday. i have to put in some new spark plug wires and change my supercharger oil. I will get my car tapped when I am there. I pm-ed charles so as soon as he gets back to me, then i'll know when i can try and get the pcm done.
