A/C turns on automatically

So lets add another minor problem to the list! Almost every time I start my car, my A/C automatically turns on... I don't get it! I turn it off when I finally realize, but I don't get why it will turn on. I don't think its consistent though. I don't think it turns on EVERY time. BUT, I haven't been able to convince myself that it will turn itself back on. I think sometimes after I shut it off and drive around, it turns itself back on... I don't get it! I don't touch any blower speed, the temp in either zone, or the location of the air flow. I usually leave the blower speed on 1 all the time.

A/c will just come on for two reasons. One defrost and two to circulate the Freon for a bit so it just doesn't sit.

this.. buick does it, impala did it, both my bro's monte carlos did it. this was why as per the owners manual as well.

My younger daughter doesn't want to drive my Cadillac because she says it keeps doing things when she isn't turning them on. She freaks out over automatic climate systems, warning systems and having the mirrors/seats/radio automatically adjust to the key she's using.

My car does this every so often too. I just chalked it up for the sweet ass GM wiring.
