Blocking off coolant passages in lower intake on L67.

I remember doing this on my L36 so that the upper intake wouldn't deteriorate again. I also noticed IATs were down even further than they were previously. That said..

Any benefit on an L67? I'm going to be doing my LIM/SC gaskets soon when I do a coolant flush within the next two months. Wondering if I should do this while I'm in there.

If you plan on removing the blower its benefical, or intercooling. You can also enlarge the passage on the drivers side under the cover to get more flow.

Idk what that is. But blocking coolant from flowing through the blower and throttle body

whats your end goal for this car, i would leave as much stock as possible untill it becomes just a toy car

Reliable daily that can run mid to low 14s

headers, cold air intake, pulley and a tune leave everything else stock maybe get rid of the egr i fucking hate egr's, but ported blowers and ported throttle bodys and all that crap is a waste of money unless your going for an all out build and it is going to add to the chance of the car becoming unreliable

I've had my coolant passages blocked off forever. From what I hear its better for intake temps and makes taking the blower and TB off less of a mess.
