ok i went with a z7 turbo kit

i get a trouble code of p1670 zzp said not to worry about it...
i get misfire at idle no other time could the pcm be bad causing this ?
i cleard the trouble code and it comes back as soon as i start the car..
i didnt have it before the turbo install with pcm.

i have the plugs gaped at 045 is this right for a turbo car ?

this is on a 2003 montecarlo ss 3.8

I'm not sure on the code but for the plug gap if you don't get blow out under wot then stick with it, if you do then gap down, mine are gapped to 23 thousandths started at 30 and worked down

1670 is usually not serious. It is for the load detected on a driver that runs fan relays and the ac relay. There might be something else on there as well. If everything is working, then I wouldn't worry about it.

i would just check the relays and the wires going to the fans and what not make sure they are both working good and that a wire isn't worn through grounding out somewhere

i runing 9psi of boost ......... my car is stock other then 1.9 rockers #60 injectors and a 62mm Precision Turbo.....

Thats a cool story, this isnt a Marauder, or a whipple. This is a turbo 3800.

i running 103s
stock coil packs changed the msd ones out same misfire.
wires are taylor 8mm

i got a feeling the misfire is bad injectors the p1670 may be a bad pcm turbo is sucking oil .. all this with less then 20 miles ..... yes the drain is stright down no kinks.....

What turbo do you have, some of them require an oil restrictor on the feed line otherwise it will over pressure and blow past the seal, they sell them on treadstone's websight
