3800 My MPG sucks

Seriously. Mixed (70/30 city/highway) driving only got me 20.8 MPG. OMFG.

Now I need to do another tune up and lower part throttle timing since it is getting cooler out. Seeing 3* of KR and upwards of 5 at part throttle with a stock pulley. However, I can feel the converter locking up then magically KR will appear.

I don't count because i run ras gas in every tank but i average 16 city and 21 highway, that's after careful tuning too, i was getting 10/16 before on a good tank.

you dont have enough supporting mods to run that pulley. you will blow holes in your pistons. may i suggest a 4.2" pulley?

At least a 4.2. I should really think about heads, cam, headers, IC in order to even think about a 3.8.

well, with those mods you should beable to drop to a 3.4, only with lots and lots of tuning though. the smallest amount of knock will chunk the glass pistons in the 3800.
