Frontier and Tacoma are the most balanced, the best
Ridgeline for city/hwy (sports car of the 4)

Only thing I'm getting from this thread is people are comparing the ridgeline to every truck and those that don't like the ridgeline (except the ones going out of their way to say its a girl car) are attacked.

I like the new accords and civics styling a lot. Not a fan of the looks of the ridgeline but appreciate its capabilities and potential for a great DD.

What ever happened to liking what you like without assholes coming In to say it's shit. Who cares what people think about what you like and spend your money on.

Bub brought up a good point about cost of midsize trucks vs full size. It's crazy how much these smaller trucks are going for. That new Colorado ZR2 has me intrigued, but I think those things are gonna start around 40k. I paid low 30's for my F150 new...not sure I can justify downsizing my truck while at the same time upsizing my cost.

some people have already stated in this thread they went looking for a canyon or colorado but ended up with a fullsize. i was just wondering what the likelyness of someone going from a fullsize down to a ridgeline is. i doubt it who goes in looking for an f150 or silverado and settles for a ridgeline?

people go in looking for a ridgeline or canyon or colorado and end up with a fullsize because of the cost.

You could get a very well equipped AWD Ridgeline in the upper 20's if you really tried. They comes pretty well equipped even in the base model.

same with fullsize especially if you hit up a monster gm sale lime when they were selling 9k-10k off msrp on all new inventory.

dealer here in town had 9k off a 2016 white SS camaro i nearly dumped my mustang but id take too much of a bath on it and couldnt get the numbers to work so it didnt happen.

the deals are out there timing is everything.

And how many of the people on this board have taken their trucks to places the Ridgeline definitely couldn't?

<1%. Hell I'm betting the Ridgeline could go 99.9999999% of where my half-ton with true 4x4 & rear locker & beefy A/T's has gone.

The Ridgeline isn't for me nor do I think it's an attractive vehicle but I'm not so blind as to say there isn't a place for it in many driveways of 'Murica and you need a full-size half-ton to move your aunt's couch or a utility trailer through the 'burbs.

Yeah, I'm not saying the Ridgeline is for everyone...but considering what most people use their trucks for, the Ridgeline would just do it much more comfortably, cheaper, and more practically. It's as much truck as most people on this board (that have trucks) need, and as much truck as 99% of the country needs.
