Man, this was an experience. I can't believe the attention this car attracted last night. The Hellcat hates tires. It's going to be a rocket with a stickier tire.

Owners who have more than one night experience in the car will likely be able to knock times down even more. The takeaway is that there's a lot more in this car with a proper tire. I tried a few stability system settings, burnout vs cleaning the tires (all outside the water box) and what seemed to work best was stability in Track mode and a quick first gear burnout. It didn't take much coaxing Even so, the car would still lay down 30 feet of rubber shifting into second gear.

Bru, how realistic is the 11.2 number they publicize on the street tires? Perfect conditions with the stig driving or is this something an enthusiast can actually do?

I think it's doable with better air, track prep and someone who's spent more time in the car. My time is only .12 away from an 11.29, and I'd call that 11.2.
